Come Unto Me…

Matthew 11:28-30 (Easy-to-Read Version)

28-” Come to me all of you who are tired from the heavy burden you have been forced to carry. I will give you rest. 29-Accept my teaching. Learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will be able to get some rest. 30-Yes, the teaching that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is light.”

Question: Why do you think God is inviting those of you who are weary, burdened, exhausted, and carrying heavy loads? The answer is: Because He wants you to know that He has already carried these things for you on the cross.

If you accept Him and His teaching, you will learn that God teaching shows you how to cast all your burdens on Him and how to find true rest in Him. God is not a harsh taskmaster. He offers you, life and life more abundantly. This is why the load He gives you to carry is light.
